While it feels remote, reaching the valley is relatively straightforward.

By Road

Most travelers arrive by road.

The route typically follows:

Delhi → Chandigarh → Bilaspur → Mandi → Aut → Banjar → Tirthan Valley

Just before Aut Tunnel, the road turns right toward Banjar and gradually enter

As you are about to reach Banjar after the bridge and U turn, turn left toward Tirthan Valley. If you continue straight from Banjar, the road leads toward Jibhi, so this junction is the place that separate the two destinations.s the valley.

As of June 4, 2026, the road surface has been renewed up to Banjar. Beyond Banjar, travelers should expect rough and uneven sections caused by previous landslides, including two locations where the road remains heavily damaged.

From there, buses and taxis provide onward connections.
